Hey! I’m Darcie, and I’m the face behind Faire Creative.
I’ve been dabbling in freelance for 10?! years now, and in 2025 I’ve decided to take it full time. WHY? I realised that I was at a fork in my career. I could either keep moving up, into project management and team leadership, or I could stay roughly where I was but keep being creative. The problem is, I love both of these things, and there was just no job that was broad enough to keep both sides of my brain happy.
In comes FREELANCE. The perfect balance of creativity, structure, planning and executing.
It’s also maybe going to be the hardest thing I’ve done in my life, and something about that challenge has me really excited.
SO, what do you need to know about me?
I love to learn new things.
I’m a big fan of big, bold colour matched with simple, minimal designs.
I love to mix mediums, and bring something I’ve drawn in real life into the computer, or something I’ve created digitally into the real world.
Logic always comes first, which is why I can make quick design decisions and problem solve new challenges.
